#2 Tame those power brows!

Original Queen of the Power Brow - Brooke Shields

Some of us are told that we are "blessed" with body parts that are seemingly larger than others; eyes, noses, chests, backsides... you name it.

And then there are those like myself whose eyebrows manage to become the topic of conversation amongst  our friends. Thankfully, I have left the "caterpillars on my face" days behind and manage my brows so that they have definition, but are not out of control!

They say that big eyebrows have come back into fashion. Now there are some that use this as an excuse to let their brows grow completely wild, but then at the other end of the spectrum, there are those that pluck them out to the very last strand, and end up having to draw them on.

I suggest a happy medium :)

Make sure you never pluck too much in the middle, and remove hair only beneath the natural archline, not above. If you notice your eyebrows are growing a little thick on the archline itself, comb them in an upwards direction and trim with some nail scissors (but make sure you don't go too far into the brow line and end up cutting out chunks of your eyebrow!)

Actress Camilla Belle

Style Icon Audrey Hepburn
